Cabot Animal Support Services (CASS) respects the privacy of our staff, volunteers, adopters, and donors, and other interested parties. On our website, CASS does not collect any personal data from visitors to our website that is not voluntarily provided. If provided voluntarily, CASS collects and processes certain personal information for our educational, networking, marketing, events, adoption promotions, program support, employment opportunities, and similar purposes related to achieving our mission.
Such personal information that is voluntarily submitted to CASS is not shared with entities outside of CASS other than appropriate service providers who assist our organization in carrying out these mission-related functions. Such personal information is not sold or transferred outside the control of CASS or its contractors.

Animal Shelter Records
As a government contractor, some of our animal shelter records are governed by Arkansas open records laws. It’s important for you to understand that most business you conduct with the City of Cabot, becomes a public record. Public records as defined by state law, and not made confidential elsewhere in the Arkansas Code, may be posted for electronic access through that government’s website. Most of the business conducted with CASS is not public record including but not limited to volunteering, fostering, donating, purchases at our retail store, and event attendance, sponsorship, and purchases.
Moreover, CASS makes no warranties or guarantees to the accuracy of breed, sex, weight, age, behavior, or any other descriptor outlined in animals at our shelter. The information contained on our website about animals are not necessarily from court records, arrest records, or animal control citations. While we make every effort to be transparent in our acquisition of animals from the City of Cabot, the reason for impoundment by the City of Cabot, Arkansas, may vary from what you see on the website. Information about how an animal came to be in our care that is not available from CASS may be available to you in an open records request from the City of Cabot.
