The City of Cabot Animal Field Services employs Animal Services Officers who work within, and serve as a key component, of the community’s public safety program. Our field service officers answer requests for service and handle emergency situations seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

All dogs and cats kept in the city limits must have a city issued “License” according to Ordinance Number 13 of 2014.

Cabot Animal Support Services offers Microchipping services for Dogs and Cats for $25. This price includes registration for the life of the animal and a one year maintenance plan.

There are no income or residency restrictions to participate in the Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic program but all surgeries are by appointment only.

To allow the citizens of Cabot to sustain the human/animal bond that is necessary for a healthy community, the city of Cabot recognizes a group of dogs classified as “Pit Bulls” and allows these dogs to live within the city as long as they receive and maintain a permit.
